Introducing MetalMarc Events & Marketing

MetalMarc is the result of more than 10 years of corporate marketing, branding and event management experience. After numerous suggestions from colleagues, family and friends, I've decided to strike out on my own. This is a very personal adventure for me and I'm both excited and extremely nervous all at the same time.

My goal is to provide support for small to mid-size companies that cannot afford to hire a full-time marketing staff. I have worked for both large companies and small and have personally experienced the roller coaster ride that is the "marketing budget". While companies try to do more with less, I saw the need for cost-effective outside assistance. Hopefully MetalMarc can answer that need.

Special Thanks to the numerous people who have helped bring MetalMarc to life. The guys at Grip Agency are great and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a creative resource for almost any project - it seems they have endless capabilities! I love the logo they created for me and the website looks great if I do say so myself. Also, thanks to all my family and friends who have been so encouraging and supportive as I've worked through the steps to get this thing started. I've finally even signed up for Facebook!! And last but certainly not least, a special thanks to Mr. Kevin Vaughan from Sentient Flight Group. Kevin came into my life suddenly and unexpectedly as my new boss in the Spring of 2007 - a result of the merger between our two companies. It was an emotional time for me both on a personal and professional level. But from our very first meeting, he proved himself to be an extremely supportive and talented mentor and now I'm lucky enough to call him a friend. Thanks Kevin, for helping me make MetalMarc a reality!

METALMARC MARKETING

Introducing the new logo for MetalMarc Events & Marketing. The Metalmarc (actually spelled with a "k") is a species of butterfly. I chose the name and image for my company logo in honor of my mother who passed away in April of 2007. Butterflies were one of her favorite things and everytime I see one fluttering about I am reminded of her. I can only hope she knows how much she was loved and how much she is missed every single day.
